Double Room History (7)

Badenweiler’s celebrities and their special rooms

Our historical rooms, located on the ground floor, are a guest favorite. Each, exquisitely detailed room is dedicated, visually and thematically, to a famous, former Badenweiler guest. Federal President Johannes Rau, Nobel Prize winner Hermann Hesse, Grand Duke Friedrich, Indira Ghandi: these VIP guests and their legacies continue to live on in our comfortable rooms. Guests will find their biographies on the illuminated closet door. Furthermore, guests will find Hermann Hesse’s typewriter, Johannes Rau’s skat cards, and original Indian furniture in Mrs. Ghandi’s room.
