  • Sunday: Walk and Dine At 6.30 pm together with our guests, we start our culinary tour through the hotel. Along the tour, our hotel manager gives you a look behind the scenes, telling you the history of our Fini-Resort. The dining starts with a glass of a vintner’s sparkling wine at the hotel bar, then a tasty appetizer awaits you in our gym. The culinary tour ends with a delicious, regional seasonal menu in our restaurant "Aqua Villae". Monday: Bon appétit! The French border is just 8 kilometers away and there are some things we copied from our neighbors. At the French Night on Mondays we first serve the famous Alsace Flammkuchen, freshly made the classic way with bacon and onions. After that, enjoy a typical French menu, of course you can choose between creations of meat or fish. Our waiters wear French dresses and there is a selection of French wines and cocktails available at the bar. Tuesday: Fini's Chateau-feast The favorite specialty of our house is the "Chateaubriand royal", which is a tender, pink roasted Markgräfler beef filet. As a side dish we offer homemade sauces, fries macaire, homemade spaetzle (sort of pasta) and fresh vegetables from our Fini farm. For many guests this is the highlight of the week! Wednesday: Barbecue or fondue Today the big barbecue grill stands on our sun-patio. We offer four to five variations of meat, from rustic-hearty to noble and fine. There is also fish and five delicious barbecue dips, which are all self-made. In addition, there is a salad buffet, bread, potato wedges, other side dishes and a selection of desserts. During winter or in case of very bad weather, we are switching the program and the barbecue grill stays cold. Instead, there will be a cozy Swiss fondue evening at our restaurant with various types of meat, sauces, side dishes and desserts. Thursday: Baden-night Nowhere in Germany there are as many star-cooks as in the southwest. Baden’s cuisine is famous and much-lauded. Today we enjoy the region with the delicious cuisine of the Markgräflerland and hearty specialties from the Black Forest. Our wines from Baden are a perfect fit and are free for you during dinner. Friday: Roman evening 2000 years ago the Romans founded Badenweiler and have left their trails there. Every Friday, we remind our guests of that time by serving delicious menus and buffets according to the ancient Roman recipes. Therefore, there is always meat roasted in our Roman clay oven. By the way, the oven is not 2000 years old. In 2013 we recreated the oven, following old documents and under professional supervision. Saturday: Schnitzel, fried fish & co. You will enjoy our schnitzel: regional meat, crispy coating, artful sauces. With roast potatoes, spaetzle and french fries as side dishes. In the fish corner there is tasty food like fried fish surrounded by beer crust or “Egli-Knusperli”, served with the best remoulade near and far. A salad buffet, vegetables from our farm and delicious desserts complete Saturdays.
